musings from the lab

Just the deep thoughts which arise from spending long hours in the lab, field, office, greenhouse, and classroom.

I "love" SAS

At about 11:30, i was ready to throw the office computer on the floor and kick it. And kick it even harder when it was down. I am glad I didn’t because I finally got it to do what I wanted it to do. The reason is multifold: a teaching style that stinks (especially compare to Dr. Loughin's), the unhelpfulness of error codes, the absolute hapless help service of SAS help, and just bad coding.

So, to cheer up the mood before going to bed; I worked on some of my picture from KC this past weekend. Enjoy

The final results! . . . . . . . . . . . . Tom & I . . .

PS I have fuzzy feelings for castpost too! On October 14, they installed flash player for all mp3 files. There is no way to save the mp3 to file. Grr.. But the other stuff still saves—for now.

hey, hey... don't knock that coding; someone probably labored hours and hours over such!
